Serves: 3–4 | Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 8–10 mins
The ultimate 10-minute summer side dish! Our Sautéed Squash gets a beautiful golden-brown caramelization in a mix of butter and olive oil before being hit with a pinch of salt and our zesty CMM Lemon Pepper Seasoning. Simple, bright, and clean!
Ingredients:
- 3–4 medium yellow crookneck squash, sliced into ¼-inch rounds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1–2 teaspoons CMM Lemon Pepper Seasoning
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil and melt the butter together in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced crookneck squash to the hot skillet in a single, even layer.
- Sauté undisturbed for 4–5 minutes, allowing the squash to develop a deep, rich, golden-brown sear on the bottom side.
- Flip the squash slices over and season evenly with the salt and CMM Lemon Pepper Seasoning.
- Continue cooking for another 3–4 minutes, tossing gently, until the squash is tender-crisp and the citrus-pepper spices are fragrant. Serve hot!
