Italian Dressing

A fresh, herb-forward vinaigrette that is far superior to store-bought versions. Using CMM Italian Seasoning gives you a perfectly balanced blend of herbs without any fillers or preservatives.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup olive oil or avocado oil
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Clean Monday Meals Italian Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for balance)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- Variation: For a "Creamy Italian" version, whisk in 2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt or mayonnaise.
- Storage: Store in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. If the oil solidifies, simply let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes and shake well.
Instructions:
- Combine the olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, honey, and CMM Italian Seasoning in a mason jar or a small blender.
- Add the salt and black pepper.
- Shake vigorously for 30–60 seconds if using a jar, or pulse in a blender until the dressing is emulsified.
- Taste and add an extra pinch of salt or pepper if desired.
- Let the dressing sit for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow the dried herbs in the seasoning to fully hydrate and release their flavor.
