Bold Bee BBQ Pulled Pork (3 Ways)

Bold Bee BBQ Pulled Pork (3 Ways)

Serves: 8–10 | Prep Time: 15 mins | Cook Time: Varies by method

One recipe, three ways! Our Bold Bee BBQ Pork is the ultimate crowd-pleaser, whether you’re throwing it on the smoker, roasting it in the oven, or letting your slow cooker do all the work. It shreds like a dream and pairs perfectly with a generous drizzle of our homemade Billionaire BBQ Sauce!

Ingredients:

Instructions:

The Prep (For All Methods):

  1. Pat the pork butt completely dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub the mustard all over the meat to create a binder.
  3. Coat the entire pork butt heavily with the CMM Bold Bee BBQ Seasoning, pressing the spices firmly into the meat so every inch is covered.

*Choose Your Cooking Method*

Method 1: The Smoker (Traditional BBQ Bark)

  1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F using a sweet wood like apple, cherry, or pecan.
  2. Place the seasoned pork butt directly on the grates, fat side up.
  3. Smoke for about 5–6 hours until the internal temperature hits 165°F and a beautiful dark crust (bark) has formed.
  4. Remove the pork, wrap it tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil or butcher paper, and place it back into the smoker.
  5. Continue cooking at 225°F for another 3–4 hours until the internal temperature reaches 200°F–205°F and a meat thermometer slides in like butter.

Method 2: The Oven (Low & Slow Roast)

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F.
  2. Place the seasoned pork butt fat side up in a large Dutch oven or a heavy roasting pan. Pour ¼ cup of water or apple cider into the bottom of the pan (do not pour it over the meat).
  3. Cover tightly with the lid or a double layer of foil.
  4. Roast for 6–8 hours until the pork is tender and reaches an internal temperature of 200°F–205°F.

Method 3: The Slow Cooker (Effortless Comfort)

  1. Place the seasoned pork butt into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Pour ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar or water around the base of the pork.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours until the meat is completely tender and falling apart.

The Finish:

  1. Remove the pork from the heat source and let it rest for 20–30 minutes before shredding.
  2. Discard the bone and any excess fat, then use two forks to shred the meat into succulent strands.

**The Billionaire Finish: For the ultimate flavor experience, toss the warm, shredded pork in a few generous spoonfuls of our homemade CMM Billionaire BBQ Sauce and serve extra sauce on the side for dipping!
