Billionaire BBQ Ribs
(Smoker & Oven Methods)
Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 5–6 hours
The best part about these ribs? They are as easy or as detailed as you want them to be. Keep the membrane on for that classic texture or peel it off for extra tenderness—either way, the Billionaire BBQ Seasoning does all the heavy lifting!
Ingredients:
- 1 rack of ribs (St. Louis style, Baby Back, or Spare ribs)
- 3–4 tablespoons Clean Monday Meals Billionaire BBQ Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard (optional binder)
- Optional Glaze: Your favorite BBQ sauce
Instructions:
- Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel. Optional: Remove the silver skin (membrane) from the back of the ribs for a more tender bite or leave it on if you prefer the traditional texture.
- Apply a thin layer of mustard over the entire rack if using a binder, then generously coat both sides with the Billionaire BBQ Seasoning. Let the ribs sit for 15–30 minutes while you prep your heat source.
- Smoker Method: Preheat your smoker to 250°F using fruitwood (like apple or cherry) or hickory. Place the ribs bone-side down and smoke for 5 hours.
- Oven Method: Preheat your oven to 250°F. Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place the foil packet on a baking sheet and roast for 4–5 hours until the meat is tender.
- The Finishing Glaze (Optional): If you prefer a "wet" rib, brush a layer of BBQ sauce over the top of the rack during the last 30 minutes of smoking. For the oven method, open the foil, brush with sauce, and place under the broiler for 2–4 minutes until caramelized.
- Let the ribs rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing.
