I’ve been counting down the days for @barwsteakhouse to open and tonight completely exceeded my expectations.

Since moving to rural Utah and being gluten-free, eating out has become really complicated and limiting. But when I was told I could eat almost everything on the menu, I honestly wanted to cry. Usually I’m limited to 2–4 options at most.

For the first time ever, I got to share food with everyone at my table and just feel normal. I didn’t feel different or like a burden — and that meant more to me than I can explain.

And on top of that… the food was absolutely exceptional. I’ve eaten at a lot of places around the world and this is truly my favorite steakhouse I’ve ever been to. Our whole table was blown away (and we ordered half the menu).

So grateful for places like this and the people behind them. Our small town needed this but know people will travel to eat there. 

They will be opening to the public in March!
