Grit & Grind Steak Bites & Green Beans (2 Ways)

Serves: 3–4 | Prep Time: 15 mins (plus marinating) | Cook Time: 8–10 mins

Steakhouse flavor in under 15 minutes! These Grit & Grind Steak Bites & Green Beans are marinated in our Worcestershire Powder and robust Grit & Grind BBQ Seasoning for incredibly tender, savory beef. Cook them up in a hot buttered skillet or toss them in the air fryer for the ultimate fast, clean, and low-carb dinner!

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs sirloin, New York strip, or ribeye, cut into 1"x1" cubes
  • 12 oz fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for cooking)

The Marinade:

Instructions:

The Prep:

  1. Whisk together the water, olive oil, CMM Worcestershire Powder, and CMM Grit & Grind BBQ Seasoning in a medium bowl until smooth.
  2. Toss the 1" steak cubes in the marinade until fully coated. Let them sit at room temperature for 15–20 minutes (or cover and refrigerate for up to 4 hours).

*Choose Your Cooking Method*

Method 1: The Skillet (Classic Sear)

  1. Melt the 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove the steak bites from the marinade (discard excess liquid) and add them to the hot skillet in a single, spaced-out layer.
  3. Sear undisturbed for 2 minutes to build a beautiful crust, then toss and cook for another 1–2 minutes until browned on all sides.
  4. Add the trimmed green beans directly to the skillet with the steak and pan juices.
  5. Cook, tossing frequently, for another 3–4 minutes until the green beans are tender-crisp and coated in the flavorful butter.

Method 2: The Air Fryer (Quick & Hands-Off)

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Toss the trimmed green beans with a small drizzle of oil or melted butter.
  3. Remove the steak bites from the marinade. Place the steak bites and the green beans side-by-side in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 6 to 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the steak bites are seared to your liking and the green beans are tender and blistered.
