Sunday Update

It’s been eight days since Janae’s emergency surgery for a hematoma in her right breast (Almost five weeks since her re-augmentation with a lift), and she’s doing so well. Today the weather was perfect, so we went for a walk—probably a mile and a half, maybe two—and she handled it like a boss. Every day her energy climbs a little higher, and the inflammation fades a little more.

Her surgeon, Dr. Guilfoyle, doesn’t expect any lasting issues, and watching her heal, I’d have to agree. She looks incredible. The resilience of the human body never ceases to amaze me.

Janae is the strongest person I know, and I’d say she’ll be back to her usual self in another week or two.
