Some days, it’s hard to believe it’s been 56 days since I started this journey—and other days, I feel it in every ounce of my body.
There have been a lot of ups and downs. From having reactions to supplements and foods, to moments when all I wanted was to eat “normal” again.
On a scale of 1–10, I’d say I’m at an 8 today. When I started, I was at a 2. And I only say 2 because I was still functioning—but barely. When your husband has to carry you because your whole body hurts so badly, you know something has to change.
I’ve learned so much. I’ve grown so much. And I’ve seen huge improvements in my overall health and wellbeing.
These pictures aren’t to show that I’ve lost weight—they’re to show how much inflammation has left my body. I haven’t worked out; I’ve only had the energy to meditate and go on walks.
These photos are proof: food and the right supplements are powerful.
I have so much more energy again. I can dance in the kitchen with my babies. I can host and throw parties. I feel so much more in my power.
I feel like I’m finally getting my life back. And if you’re in the thick of it, feeling like there’s no end in sight—please keep fighting. You are stronger than you know. And sometimes, the hardest seasons lead to the most powerful second chances.
