Healing Comes in Waves

Ugh. I’m so bummed. 

I added eggs back in yesterday and felt so tired. Like, bone-deep exhaustion. I even took a nap — and I NEVER nap. At first, I thought maybe it was just from the long busy day + super late night we had.... but then I ate eggs again this morning and bam, the same thing. Within minutes I was ready to crawl back into bed. 

It’s such a discouraging feeling — especially when you’ve been working so hard to feel better. Reintroducing foods is scary because when something sets you back, it’s like you lose a little trust in your body again. 

But I’m reminding myself:
this is part of the process
my body is talking to me
and I’m listening.

Back to no eggs for now. And that’s okay. Healing comes in waves — it’s full of learning moments like this.
